How do I schedule my event?

  • Please fill out the inquiry form on our contact page.

  • We will review your details provided and schedule you a tour.

  • To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of $200 will hold your date on our calendar.
    Weddings are often held on Saturdays & Sundays, but other days are acceptable. Next, one of the clergy will be assigned to officiate your wedding. FCCLA Minister’s will customize your ceremony based on your traditional and cultural needs.

How much time do we have at First Church?

  • We reserve a three-hour time block for each wedding. You and your ceremony vendors have access to property at the start of your reserved time block: 1hr for arrival, setup, and pre-ceremony photos. 1hr for processional and actual ceremony. 1hr for post ceremony photos and breakdown. Wedding Guest will have access to park on property 30 minutes prior to the Ceremony Start Time. If additional time is needed please let us know as soon as possible. Additional time is given based on availability and will be charged a fee.

May same-sex couple be married at FCCLA?

  • FCCLA does indeed marry same-sex couples.

What requirements are needed? Weddings, Memorials & Baptisms?

What documents are necessary?

  • A marriage license must be obtained from your local County Registrar within sixty days of your wedding date. You are to give the license to the Officiant prior to your wedding rehearsal. You and your witnesses will sign the license on your wedding day. The church will take care of mailing the license to the City Clerks office. You should receive your official marriage license directly from the City Clerks office about two months after your wedding. Please let us know if you are already married and simply wanting to have your Ceremony at First Church.

May visiting clergy participate in the wedding?

  • Yes. While an FCCLA minister on the current clergy staff will be the primary officiant of your ceremony, visiting clergy members may participate in various portions of the service. You will have a scheduled meeting with your assigned FCCLA Minister to discuss what you do/don’t want and any traditional/cultural elements you want to include. If the ceremony will be performed in a different language, please let us know. We also welcome you having a family member / loved one to participate in your ceremony if you desire.

How do we schedule our rehearsal?

  • The wedding rehearsal is scheduled in advanced and is usually on a Thursday or Friday afternoon or evening before the wedding. It usually takes about an hour. All members of the wedding party should attend. Your wedding coordinator will be responsible for running rehearsal & communicating with participants who were not present.

Do we need an Outside Coordinator?

  • Yes! We require couple to have a “Month of” coordinator. A coordinating fee will be charged if one is not hired.

Can we have a guest performer?

  • Absolutely. We welcome outside musicians! There is a mandatory sound check 15-30 minutes before doors open for guests. Make sure your guest performer is aware ahead of time. You can also hire one of FCCLA’ talented singers/choir.

Will music be able to be playing while guests enter the chapel and up until ceremony?

  • Yes! FCCLA resident organist will play a 15 minute organ prelude leading up to the processional.

Are drones allowed?

  • No. Drones are not allowed. Clients will be charged a fee if drones are seen within the Church’s air space.

Can our flower girl toss flowers or have flowers line the aisle?

  • Yes, as long as they are real, white flowers. FCCLA is not responsible for cleaning up tossed or placed flowers. We ask that you assign someone to clean up any and all florals/decor.

For the commercial general liability insurance, how do we go about obtaining this type of insurance and from where?

  • You can purchase general liability insurance from eventhelper.com or if you have your own Commercial insurance, that may be used as well. Be sure to list FCCLA as additional insured.

Are there reception facilities at the Church?

  • Yes, we are only booking outdoor facilities at this time. Please inquire with and schedule a tour of our space.

What is your current COVID policy?

  • As of March 1st, 2023, we no longer require proof of vaccination to attend services and events. However, we continue to encourage all eligible people to get vaccinated and keep up to date with boosters to minimize transmission and your own risk of serious illness.

    We will continue to adjust to changes in public health as needed and we are grateful for your help in trying to make our campus a reasonably safe environment.
